How to get around gas stove ban
-
I am OK with leaving gas stoves the heck alone.
If you want to phase out certain types of stovetops, might as well go all the way and leave only induction cooktops.
https://www.energystar.gov/about/2021_residential_induction_cooking_tops
"The per unit efficiency of induction Cooking Tops is about 5-10% more efficient than conventional electric resistance units and about 3 times more efficient than gas. If all Cooking Tops sold in 2021 in the U.S. used induction technology and met these draft criteria, the energy cost savings would exceed $125 million and the energy savings would exceed 1,000 GWh."

Can’t. People with implanted medical devices can’t use them.
Fuck ‘em

A friend of mine is a retired house painter. Had his own business for forty years. His best return clients were people who either smoked, had gas ranges or both. House needed repainting top to bottom every five years.
Gas ranges are probably fine with the proper hood and fan ventilation otherwise probably not a healthy idea. In the absence of enforced regulations people will always cheap out on the ventilation as it is expensive.
