This morning I had a conference call scheduled for 10 AM. At precisely 10, a reminder came up on my phone, I pressed it, then pressed the number that popped up, then pressed dial. At 10:00:35 I joined the call simultaneously with 12 other people. Back in the day of analog phones and clocks, I used to have to call in for a conference like this 5 minutes early in case my watch/clock was off a few minutes, and we normally didn't have everybody on the call until 5 minutes after the scheduled time as other people's clocks and watches were. Having our watches and phones synced to a universal time on a cellular signal has saved countless minutes in my life.

This morning the delivery manager and I had to coordinate a delivery to a customer's home with a lot of steps. We put the address into google, and were able to pull up the listing from Zillow showing the outdoor steps and driveway, as well as the interior steps going up to the main living area. It wasn't too long ago that deliveries like this often necessitated somebody driving out to the home to inspect the delivery route in advance.

I think we've gotten spoiled over the past 10-15 years...

Yes, great examples. The synced time is underappreciated, I agree. Heck just this morning I had a meeting that starts at 0830 and the host started it at 829 and I had the thought of "I know for a fact she sees it's 0829 and is starting early", ha!
