      Second killing. Shut it down.

"were taken to the Harborview Medical Center in a private vehicle by people who identified themselves as 'CHOP medics"

Words have meaning. Did these "Medics" have EMT certification? Are they insured? Do they carry appropriate equipment in their private vehicles?

IMO, they should have been arrested immediately on-site. The fact that they did not call emergency services including an ambulance with appropriate equipment and training makes these "medics" complicit in the death of this boy.

The same considerations need to be made with the "Security"... By the way, most of the "security" guys in the pictures are white (and male). And they just killed young black men... Interesting.

I wonder if an ambulance would even go there. My daughter worked in the local ambulance and a police escort was common if there was any question of danger. How would that work there?

I'm glad they're not leaving. I would like to see the residents of the area finally heard. I suppose the popularity of the protest started low, and is approaching zero with them at this point.

I still think CHOP and the city should draw their own conclusions and the rest of the country should observe.

This is an experiment and it should play out so that others may see the results as they think about next steps in their own locality.

I don't believe we have any visibility with which to judge. The whole thing has been whitewashed by the media. Unless there really aren't any residents and businesses there who don't like having their taxpayer rights usurped by a violent overthrow of their neighborhood.

What happens with a business or resident that goes public with concerns? Come to think of it, they'd be risking their lives and their property to exercise their free speech at this moment.

Letting it play out is a great idea.

And it should last for about 5 seconds after they occupied private businesses.

I agree. The city made a serious mistake in not stopping the set up of the camp when it first started.
