Fry 'em or 'choot 'em?

It came from a time when there was really no other option for those who could not be trusted to reasonably live in a society. There were no prisons. Then we added religion to the mix, making it seem righteous.
The only value I think it has today is eliciting plea bargains to avoid it, and that is after the fact. No deterrent value there.

Nothing special needed.
Towels and/or a mop.
Used to hunt with the guy who tagged and bagged 'em down on The Farm. Some are messier than others.
