Hey Costco Peeps!

Yeah. It's approximate though. I stay away from their tenderloins though - usually the butt end which is not as good as a center cut. If it were me I'd probably take a lot at the sirloin cap at just over half the price. More edible meat.
I'm a strip steak guy, and Mrs. George likes filets. What do you recommend for her?

Well, the prime tenderloin at $20 a lb is a good deal. If they are too big, which they might be, you can always cut them in half. They're just not my favorite tenderloins though. I get mine from my butcher. Does she like pork tenderloin?
Costco's rack of lamb is good too, as are their lamb chops.

George, we routinely get Costco NY Strips and find them to be as good as any butcher. We did get a 4 pack 2 weeks ago, though, and the steaks were a little tough. We thawed out a pair of steaks that had been frozen 3 months ago and they were far better. I think Costco May be having a bit of a beef supplier issue.

We joined Costco last November. Definitely not taking advantage of it as we planned. One, the closest warehouse is in Illinois. I hate paying Illinois sales tax so we avoid shopping in Illinois whenever possible.
They have been out of things we actually want to purchase on line like disinfecting wipes, etc.
Probably going to exercise the refund on the membership soon.

The real problem with Costco Is that when you go you walk out with $300 of stuff you didn’t even know you needed when you walked in.
That's why I'm going to do it through Instacart online, LOL.
They do a very good job of putting the stuff I want just inside the front door. And I didn't even know I wanted it.
