What do you think? I miss some of the emojis, but other than that I find it much easier.

Much better. Our last board’s master seemed to always be in your face.
Don’t know what’s so hard about good emojis but modern platforms seem to suck at it.

Much better. Faster with no down-time.
The only thing I don't like is the awkward way quotes get parsed. Sometimes line breaks come through, sometimes they don't. If they don't I've given up on adding ">" signs to make it readable. If you have a hard time reading without the line breaks, just go to the url.
I really don't care about emojis, smileys whatever that much.
I like the fact that you can upload a pic directly without going through another service (like postimage), though I wish there were a way to post multiple images at once.
A while ago,
Der FührerKlaus posted about using "markup" to insert tables, bullet points, etc. I find that very confusing, in my dotage, and I wish there were a handy reference guide for how to do it on this platform. -

I agree about the emojis. I also don't like that we can't enter more than one double space to separate items in the text.
Otherwise I'm okay with this platform, although I don't have much by way of comparison.

Wish it had a few more skins, a bit better emojis and a couple of other niggling complaints, but overall, good uptime and interface.

I did not know you could do this!!!! LOL I have been upload to post image and then down load to here.
How do you do this?
So far, I am happy with the forum board. I actually see a lot of emoji and they seem to work good. And like @Loki said, not as much "other stuff" from the owners.
Always makes me wonder how they can make money or what is their "business model."

Don’t think we have a policy for it yet, but we should expect uploaded files (such as images) to be “aged out” and deleted when we bump up against our storage limit.

I like the platform. No issues. Very mobile friendly.

I have added a new plug in that is supposed to improve average post quality by at least 12%. Let me know what you think.

Lol I also almost went with a Jon joke instead.

I do periodically receive a post that is blank. The first one was from Jon, but I've gotten blank ones from Ax and George also. Others respond to a link or a pic or something the OP provided that I can't see.
Don't know if this happens to anyone else.

I only have a couple of issues with it, both minor.
- If my chrome browser ever drops this page as it's default opening page I'll never find the place again.. and
- I wish it allowed more than one empty line between paragraphs. You can hit return a dozen times, but when it posts all but one are gone.

Ax still has a link up...just type coffee-room.com in your browser and see what you get.

Oh, one thing I don't like:
Nested quotes only go 2 generations deep. Clicking on a deeper quote takes you to the original post. I suppose it's ok, but I hate jumping around in a thread.

Quit your whining, everybody. Right Now!
It's perfect. Better than perfect. Far better.
It's like individual threads by Hallmark.
Beautiful.
