Presidential Debates, two questions

@89th said in Presidential Debates, two questions:
- How weird will it be without (I presume) an audience?
It would be great. I've always hated the cheering, applause, and other stuff (despite the moderators' injunction) that goes on.
Sit down, discuss the issues without a crowd egging you on.

Agree. Helps them to focus on the issues rather than just repeat some talking issue and waiting for the applause.
I am guessing that one of them (or both of them) will give some talking issue and then pause, waiting for applause that will never come. Then, when they realize that, they will have a goofy look on their face and try and recover.

I'm sure both sides will bring their cheerleaders who will cheer on cue.

Ugliest cheerleaders ever, is my guess.
