The only person I recall who "got into the piano business" and that was after another career was Kenny. He became a tuner.
Anyone else here who was in the piano business or still is?ILM

Two piano techs still. My father was advertising director for Baldwin for a decade then opened a store. I have moved a lot of pianos, but that was a very long time ago.

I think you still have to buy them. Even during the national buy zero get all you can carry free, they are difficult to loot.

I've got an apartment building that anything you leave sitting outside gets stolen within a few hours... unless it's a tool.

I think you still have to buy them. Even during the national buy zero get all you can carry free, they are difficult to loot.

LuFin, what are you doing in the piano industry?Larry owned piano stores and sold crappy pianos like Bechstein and Charles Walter.
LuFin currently runs a nice size piano store.

@ILM Sales and Sales Management. I manage a showroom for the Yamaha/Bösendorfer dealer in Washington, DC. I also run our Institutional Sales (Colleges, Schools, Etc...) department.
