Must have been heartbreaking for his current Jackson State recruits. I hope he makes it to the NFL, if that's his goal. Would make the NFL more fun. But that may not be his goal. Totally different job, and not necessarily a promotion as compared to head coach at a major university.

This story aired in October. During it, he said he wouldn’t turn down a job from a bigger school. An awkward part since the story was about all the good he did for the Jackson program. He seems to make an impact, will bring some of his recruits with, his son will be the QB… so some Colorado players may get screwed. I guess such is football!
