another major studio title that seriously misjudged the audience’s appetite for a nostalgia sequel. Only a quarter of the film’s opening weekend audience was under the age of 25, with moviegoers above the age of 54 representing the title’s largest age group with 21% of ticket sales.

That audience will be deeply disappointed that their beloved character is disrespected throughout the film. I don't actually think they are who the movie was written for. Though they may be who the movie is marketed towards. It's not new to make a movie in one way, then market it in another, more mainstream way. It's not like people can get their money back, after they buy a ticket.

OMG, they are exactly the ones who must be shown it is OK to hate old white men.

It's not just OK, it is the way.

As we have all learned from Hollywood, women are now, younger, smarter and stronger than the has-beens.

Read more into the test screening and how they planned the ending to learn why I'll be avoiding the fuck out of it.

I was hoping for an edifying political message. I hope it’s that.

This is Kathleen Kennedy's freakshow, you bet your ass.

      ***=NSFW content***

      click to show

Basically in the screening, Indy dies in the past so it's like he never existed, and Brody's woke female grandkid picks up the hat and takes his place.

I would be curious to know what her best work was. Like, her best creative movie making ideas that drew butts to seats. She must have had some successes at some point?

        Education is extremely important.

Frankly an 80 year old professor who refuses to retire is the most realistic aspect of the whole franchise.

Nothing wrong with professors refusing to retire!

Yeah but don't get any ideas. I don't think you could rock a whip.

C’mon, man. It’s just Klaus cracking a whip. It’s not like Klaus playing piano.

I'd never heard of Kennedy until looking into this story.
