That will give you insight into your personal concept of ownership of political happenings, at least as you apply the concept to the out group.

How many times has Biden been shut down by the courts now? For that matter, how many of his own executive orders has he reversed course on himself? I know there have been several involving the border…

I was establishing that you have a perfectly good definition of 'ownership' of the sort I'm obviously talking about already. You're playing dumb because you don't like applying that concept to yourself. But in this case, ownership might be as simple as gratitude to the Republicans for being on the right side of this policy, and for being instrumental in blocking it, along with an acknowledgment that the Democrats are on the wrong side. You might even go so far as to acknowledge the populist false narratives behind this sort of legislation, and other vote-buying policies like it.
