That’s two circuit courts that have now denied him on this topic. The 8th circuit did already with the suit from the 6 states.

If you don't take it, it can only good happen.

Possibly close. They have to put up a visible fight in order to blame the evil GOP who hates students.

My favorite part is when reasonably intelligent leftists take no ownership of this anti-social policy backed by the president they voted for, while taking for granted that the evil opposition party will block it.

What does that even mean? What would ‘taking ownership’ look like?

You can start to answer that question by introspecting about how you would like to see Trump supporters talk about January 6, and their failings in that regard. That will give you insight into your personal concept of ownership of political happenings, at least as you apply the concept to the out group.

@Horace I thought you fancied yourself the answerer of questions, and that seems rather like a dodge.

How many times has Biden been shut down by the courts now? For that matter, how many of his own executive orders has he reversed course on himself? I know there have been several involving the border…

I was establishing that you have a perfectly good definition of 'ownership' of the sort I'm obviously talking about already. You're playing dumb because you don't like applying that concept to yourself. But in this case, ownership might be as simple as gratitude to the Republicans for being on the right side of this policy, and for being instrumental in blocking it, along with an acknowledgment that the Democrats are on the wrong side. You might even go so far as to acknowledge the populist false narratives behind this sort of legislation, and other vote-buying policies like it.
