My heart goes out to you and your family. I think it is good you are so close. May there be better days ahead.
Nice new crib, though. Like it.

If anyone wants to take a look at the new place, here are some photos.
Any suggestions on where to put a piano?

That place looks very stylish. I'm glad you're so close to the kids.

Oh, man...
I just read @jon-nyc 's post and now this.
What @Doctor-Phibes said - hope it goes smoothly with little bitterness.
Best wishes.

I would suggest putting the piano just inside the patio door. Great light, something to look at as you effortlessly suck at playing Rach 3, good space, etc.
Sorry to hear of the separation. It's usually a long road to get there, and likely not a fun one.

Except maybe consider the sun's activity through the 24-hour cycle and the seasons, and whether you might sometimes need shade. And if so, determine what type of shade and fixtures, etc and install all that before you bring in the piano.
Great light is great until it's too great. You might wind up with whole hours when you can't play.

Very sorry to hear this, Klaus.
And I thought I was the only one in the world going through something so awful and hurtful.
Best of luck for your future. You have a group of people here that care for you very much. Keep that in mind as you go forward. -

Just looked at the photos of the new place - wow, it’s gorgeous. I love all the light, and that loft! Also - that deck! The whole thing has a very nice feeling to it.
