I haven't tried to make these, but I have made some of her recommended homemade backpacker meals and they turned out pretty good.

Breakfast this morning at Famous Toastery. Country ham omelet, grits, excellent coffee. I do love southern cooking.

Truly authentic Mexican street tacos. When I say authentic I mean meat, onions, radishes and cilantro. Yum. I had an Al pastor, a lengua, a cane an and something I’d never heard of, suadero. It’s a cut of beef we don’t see here.

More KIND bars. Because unlike what's in the fridge, they fulfill basic nutritional requirements while at the same time don't put me in the hospital.
