Jay Leno burned in car fire

Jay Leno is in a burn center after suffering a serious injury to his face ... TMZ has learned.
Jay was in the L.A. garage where he stores his cars on Sunday when one of the cars erupted into flames without warning. Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the flames burned the left side of Jay's face, but thankfully did not penetrate his eye or his ear.
He was taken to the burn ward at Grossman Burn Center where he remains. We do not specifically know his condition but it is serious enough that he's been admitted to the hospital.
We're told Jay has canceled all of his engagements for the duration of the week.

Funny that he once received a speed ticket for a steam powered car. LOL

Glad to see he's doing so well - he's got an awesome attitude about what happened.
I never really watched his comedy, but I absolutely love his Jay Leno's Garage show.

One of the first guys to see him in the hospital was Tim Allen. They're both petrol heads and their shops are fairly close to each other.
Allen was amazed he was tolerating the pain without pain pills and still joking with the nurses. He thought it spoke volumes about how tough Leno is, and people just don't know it.
