Midterm Election Night Drinking Game

Take a drink every time an analyst says ….

I don't have enough Scotch, cheap or otherwise for "election denier."
NPR 2 pm newscast. Anchor Lakshmi Singh: "An election-denying Republican is on the ballot to become on Arizona's next governor. She's challenged by a Democrat who spent the past 2 years defending the state's election integrity." 1/
To Ben Giles at KJZZ: "Republican Kari Lake, running in her first-ever campaign, rode the endorsement of former president Donald Trump to victory in Arizona's GOP primary...." 2/
Giles: "The former local news anchor ran a brash and
loud Trump-like campaign, boasting she drove a stake through the heart of the conservative establishment." 3/"Democrat Katie Hobbs, Arizona's current Secretary of State, ran a far more subdued campaign. She refused to debate Lake, while pitching herself as a safer choice to Arizona's important independent swing voters. Hobbs has described the race as a choice between sanity and chaos."

Existential
Beat me to it. Mighty speedy, these Texans.
I was just running around doing errands and listening to NPR. They had an interesting piece about voting in Australia. Voting is mandatory. if you don't vote they will send you a letter asking why. if you respond I was sick or your car broke down, etc., just tell them and it's OK. If you don't respond they will fine you $20.
The interviewee posited that democracy was in better shape there and voter literacy higher because of it. Also, election day is a big party day there as well.
I wonder how that would work here.

So, what’s everybody’s plans for when the Republicans end democracy?
1975 Monte Carlo with a cow catcher and flame thrower installed on the front bumper.
I also got a sweet new driving suit…
