    Are they allowed to delete the tweet? Aren’t all White House Communications required to be archived by Federal Law? I would imagine that would include tweets…

    They don't own the platform. But you can absolutely fill out a FOIA, not that it much matters. Others have written bots to archive such things. It's nearly impossible for a government social handle to actually delete anything.

      In effect, there are countless copies posted across the internet, but much like the ugly ties I’ve received for nearly 20 Father’s Day, it’s the thought that counts…

      As I think about it, I’m pretty sure there was some problem with Trump deleting a tweet and all holy hell broke loose…

              Sure would be nice for Presidential communications to go away from Twitter, IMO.
