My neighbor dropped his kid off for freshman year of college (University of Wisconsin-Madison). My neighbor said back when he went to school (and same for me), the move-in day was very lively, lots of folks meeting, out and exploring, very kinetic. He said now the experience is like checking into a hotel. Lots of doors shut, people moving in and not really socializing.
We both commented it's probably a combo of the COVID effect combined with the digital lives that kids lead. He was a bit sad about how things have changed.

That's my alma mater. A truly great school, on the level of Harvard, Marshal, Illinois Wesleyan, and Duchesne Academy Of The Sacred Heart. Too bad about the more standoffish nature.

I got arrested there once. They caught me trying to smuggle books onto campus.
I got off on a technicality, though. No one could prove they were books.

It’s not believable that a white male got arrested for anything anyway.
Add this one to that thread we have documenting all of Jon’s lies.

I can’t really speak to moving in… Thanks to MB, Luke has moved in a week before the general campus move in weekend. Moving out has been friendly enough…
