Click in and watch the 40 sec. video of two bunnies duking it out.
It is strangely amusing to watch!

@axtremus Every figure skater understands this.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

That is true. My issue with using a figure skater to demonstrate the conservation of angular momentum is that it’s harder to rule out the figure skater actively adding energy into the system. Using an inanimate object, one without a power source, to do that demonstration is IMO more convincing.

Just because they have more people and more cellphones that can record videos, we get more videos like this coming out of China:

I am especially impressed by the “quadruple helix” part around the 1:25 mark, how the four helixes weaved in and out of each other without knocking each other down. Rewatching it a second time I’m guessing she might have had a scare around the 1:40~1:41 mark.

Costume change in the middle of a competitive figure skating routine on ice:

                                Link to video

Have seen “quick change” performances as part of “magic shows” before but this is the first time I’ve seen it done as part of a competitive figure skating routine on ice. Of course there are other technically challenging feats in new routine but it’s the “first on ice” costume quick change that gets the headline.
