Probably just red wine and maybe some crusty bread. I could do some green beans, but I like to serve it up just in a pasta bowl like these. One dish dinner.

Oh no, you don't want to gunk that beauty up with too much interference. Crusty bread and wine; that's it.

Nice poem Aqua. The word “treasons” is triggering though. Too soon.

It's already too late. I'm a white male who went to college, and I wrote in hegemonic, racist metre. It could've been an Ode to Yumi Nu and I'd still be screwed.

      Please love yourself.

So, you'd be screwed until the fat lady sings(?)
See, it all works out in the end, it's destiny.
        Nice poem though, seriously.

Speaking of autumn, I was in meetings for a whopping 20 hours last week. What I usually do during this time is turn my video feed off and practice guitar.

But I also wrote this to pass the time, so here you go.

            Autumn

A weaker light descends and runs
Beneath the branches of the ones
            Who’ve seen a hundred seasons.

            When summer radiance departs
The leaves escape and drift apart,
            Committing minor treasons.

You're about two more verses and a chorus away from a Gordon Lightfoot.

Except I'm tone-deaf and have lame fingers. But yeah, hard not to love Lightfoot.
