The scent of autumn...

..in the kitchen. Got a 4 lb. pot roast braising in wine, onion mushroom soup mix and beef stock in the oven and the house smells fantastic.
Will add carrots and potatoes later so they don't cook down to mush.

Probably just red wine and maybe some crusty bread. I could do some green beans, but I like to serve it up just in a pasta bowl like these. One dish dinner.
