Frank Lloyd Wright home for $750K

About 3 miles west of Racine, about 90 min north of Chicago.

My thoughts as well. $725K would just be the beginning, and I suspect it is on some historic register so you would be very limited as to how you could go about fixing what is needed. As much as I admire the stye, in that size of house there's a sameness to the rooms that would eventually get to me. Also, his gathering areas strike me as somewhat cold and distant.
Design-wise, though, there are some spectacular areas in it

There are several FLW homes in my town (one of which was owned by a surgeon with whom I worked). Every time I was in one, my thoughts were, "Nice to look at. Difficult to live in. Fabulously expensive to maintain." The surgeon I mentioned had a "We finally fixed the leaky roof" party one year.
I mean, this is nice to look at, but could you really live in this space?
I'm surprised the realtor put these photos in.
Gonna need some "migrants" from Martha's Vineyard to clean this up...

Not sure I like this idea of "open concept."

Ok, I am going to say it. I effin hate FLW designs. Can’t stand them. They look like James Bond Villain Lairs. Horrible. Do you know how many times I have been dragged to Fallingwater? 16. Sixteen agonizing trips totaling 35 hours of my life gone.

Why did you go there so much if you hated it?

I don't understand the appeal of these houses, either. They're self-conscious, and a bit up-themselves, and don't look like homes at all.
-
Bunch of wussies who don't know awesome when they see it.
If I ever won a big lottery payout, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
