You could do this easy. Just have to have a selection of different stuff in the freezer.

@Mik It's not about lack of ability. It's about lack of interest.

But I'm thinking now I lost interest in cooking not because I lost interest in cooking, but lost interest in exertion. I think I was probably sick at that point and didn't know it. Now that things are up healthwise, maybe I'll start back up again.

Understandable. I’d be glad to put together a shopping list and some recipes that are really fast and good, very easy. All high quality food.

        Not dinner, but today's lunch:

        Air Fryer Grilled Cheese.

Some sourdough bread, slathered with butter.
A slice of American cheese, mozzarella, basil and a sliced tomato.

Air fry at 370 for about 9 minutes - flip when there's about 3 minutes to go.

I wonder how it would work with some Lithuanian rye bread....

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Might take me over the weekend. I’m putting on a big dinner tomorrow night and staining the deck Saturday and Sunday. But I will.

              Simple dinner tonight, with
              Cheese-stuffed ravioli
Pasta sauce (doesn’t seem to matter what kind)
              Sautéed spinach
              Fish sticks
              Mandarin orange
              Watermelon

                  You’re a good man.

Just leftovers for us today. Always nice to clear out the fridge a bit. Tomorrow is Friday and every Friday is pizza night. Normally we make it (probably done it over 400 times now) but tomorrow I’m solo with the kids so we’ll be ordering from a local pizza place; mainly because I really like their root beer 😂

I can't stress enough how there is no rush. I still can't stand for long periods, the way you need to when you're cooking, so it'll be awhile before I can do anything approaching elaborate.

I'll look forward no matter when. 🙂

Not a problem. I’ll be recommending high flavor low fuss stuff. But that’s good to know. Do you have a kitchen table where you could do prep work sitting?

Hey Mik, count me in on someone else that will be writing down your suggestions.
Cats and I are on the same cooking wavelength, but I suspect she has a lot more ability than I do.

                          I'd be glad to.
