    Minnesota Renaissance Festival.

Never been, wasn't planning on going but my cousin was in town and we decided to meet them there. Honestly, exactly as I suspected... quite a lot of fun, very impressed with the buildings, good food, and probably 95% of folks in costume (we weren't). The place was absolutely massive, we probably only saw 40% of the property, if that.

Someone told me the place doesn't close and that it gets... weird... at night, especially for those who stay/live/work there, or at least camp nearby.

      Mud Show!!

We have one pretty close to us. The first time I went my takeaway was that I don't think these folks only do this during festival. Big fun.

Oh during the jousting event they had a portion that yelled "long live the king!" which was weird to hear.
