The updates from Ubiquity are mostly just security and minor fixes, but every now and then we get new features.

Like the WiFi coverage map of all the WiFi access points.

Although the floor plan of the house is not accurate here, you can see that my two main access points are almost on top of each other with about 3 meters between the vertical and 3 meters between the horizontal placement. One is located in the basement where my bunker office is located and the other one is on the first floor.

The third AP is actually outside on the corner of the house and is running on a PoE (Power over Ethernet) connection. It's main function is to provide 100% coverage for the doorbell cameras video feed.

It's pretty generic in that I am unable to modify the layout of the house and there is no entry for distance values. You can only drag the APs and doorbells/cameras manually. I am making a request to Ubiquity to include additional abilities to get a more accurate coverage map. It would be nice to be able to import WiFi heat map data.

I plan on doing a heat map. I know I am overlapping the two APs way too much for maximum coverage.

That is pretty cool. Although it doesn't pick up my heat signature as I stand outside your window breathing heavily.

@89th lol. I have a very thick concrete (FlexiCore) basement ceiling with a 5-6" thick concrete slab on top of that. All with metal bars and pipes running through it. The walls of the foundation are 14" thick steel bar reinforced concrete. The walls and ceilings are dimensional 2x6, metal matrix lath, and concrete-like plaster and the house has a stone exterior. Obtaining solid WiFi coverage has been a challenge. Ubiquity has provided the product line that finally solved this problem for me and is geeky fun.
