Look closely. It's pretty damn crazy.

(In fairness, I saw it in person, else I'd have only been able to guess one of the participants.)

      Coyote?

        Coyote?

Decent guess, but even more crazy.

Some hints: It was two birds. Both feathers of which are in this photo. (Although quite obviously one of them got it a hell of a lot worse than the other.)

They went at it in the air, both fell and then it became a ground game.

        Please love yourself.

          Hawk and what else?

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

            Hawk

That's the one I recognize, too.

            and what else?

            A bald eagle.

I was about fifteen feet away I shit you not. The bald eagle wrecked that hawk. Hawk survived, but flew away. Right about this time, the eagle saw me and bolted for some nearby trees. The hawk's mate then went at it with the eagle, resting on a perch in the tree. Didn't even give a shit. Literally kept shrugging the other hawk off.

This happened yesterday morning. I came back today, and the feathers were still on the ground. At the time, I saw the eagle but couldn't make out what exactly it was fighting with. But yeah, all those hawk feathers.

            Please love yourself.
