I think it was in one of Amazon's "Bosch" episodes where a "Special Master" was appointed after the execution of a search warrant to assure that attorney-client privileged materials were not seized.

I'm not sure how a SM plays here - would Judge Dearie need to have security clearance to ascertain this?

Blow up at least one statue.
I certainly won't be a slave to such language usage.
        OK, enough.

            Sorry George.
I was trying to be of humour.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the big D has always had his household help refer to him with that respectful title of which I will not again repeat.
So, nothing new, just something else to master.

I would suggest that Trump’s trouble finding lawyers is 1) he has a reputation for not following their advice then blaming them when things go south and; 2) he is notorious for refusing to pay his bills.

In other words, he is a liability not an asset.

For a sense of perspective, though, the Johnny Depp v Amber Heard defamation trial which lasted 6 weeks, and discovery took years, cost between $6 and $8 million.

Special Master wants proof that Trump declassified the documents in question.

Trump attorneys had told the judge in a letter Monday night they didn't want to disclose that information yet because it could force them to prematurely "disclose a defense to the merits of any subsequent indictment. Spending by Donald Trump's Save America PAC surged in August to more than $6.3 million -- its highest monthly total of the year -- as the former President waged court battles over the FBI's search of his waterfront Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

More than $3.8 million of that money -- or more than $6 out of $10 spent by Trump's leadership PAC last month -- went to legal fees, according to filings Tuesday night with the Federal Election Commission. The largest legal expense was a single payment of $3 million to the trust account of a West Palm Beach, Florida, law firm.

What an idiot. Why didn’t he just turn over the documents when asked? Or even subpoenaed?

Yes, I agree. I am trying to think reasonably, and having trouble coming up with a reason why he would not do it, other than him having a "god complex" and thinks he is above everybody else.
