Who was it who died from a spider bite in the garden? I can’t recall if it was a member of a member’s relative.

Jolly used to call him John Anderson but that wasn’t his handle. Can’t recall what it was. But Horace is right, the spider bite story was bogus.

            First was Rick in 2009.

Then Mike Olsen, then Mary, then Vince now Larry.

Wow I remember when he joined and there was a long debate if he was a sock puppet or not. As moderator I had to try to figure that out but ultimately didn't do anything IIRC. I recall his first mentions of being sick were even thought as immature ploys to further his puppetry, which obviously ended up not being the case.

I’m still alive and read many posts. I don’t play piano anymore. Although I’ve little to contribute, I enjoy discussion of newsworthy topics. Many of you are very intelligent and articulate. This makes me think and keeps my mind young. Thank you. I too want to thank the devoted tech minds who’ve upgraded the forum over the years and communicated seamless viewer links.

My opinion is generally more valid than others, in that I am able to answer specific questions about where my opinions come from, where others retreat, content with their emotional truth. However, emotional truths are always welcome here.

He and Lucy came to my place in Brooklyn, and later when he was sick he would stay at my London flat when he came up for treatment. (By then he was with a different girl and living in the south of England.)

I spoke to him days before he died. He knew it was the end. I had tentative plans to visit him in the hospital but when the day came he wasn’t up to it.

Hope all is well with you and the family. We should chat sometime- a lot of water under the bridge since we last spoke.
