Yup, miss those and wish that those who do not visit would come back.

Who was it who died from a spider bite in the garden? I canât recall if it was a member of a memberâs relative.
Jolly used to call him John Anderson but that wasnât his handle. Canât recall what it was. But Horace is right, the spider bite story was bogus.

Y'all have a lot better memory than I have.

First was Rick in 2009.
Then Mike Olsen, then Mary, then Vince now Larry.
89, youâre next.

John Andrews doesn't count it was fake.

Wow I remember when he joined and there was a long debate if he was a sock puppet or not. As moderator I had to try to figure that out but ultimately didn't do anything IIRC. I recall his first mentions of being sick were even thought as immature ploys to further his puppetry, which obviously ended up not being the case.

Iâm still alive and read many posts. I donât play piano anymore. Although Iâve little to contribute, I enjoy discussion of newsworthy topics. Many of you are very intelligent and articulate. This makes me think and keeps my mind young. Thank you. I too want to thank the devoted tech minds whoâve upgraded the forum over the years and communicated seamless viewer links.

Everybody has an opinion. As always, yours is just as valid as anybody else's in this joint.

Oh, congratulations to those whoâve wed and had babies! I keep everyone who endures the medical stuff in my thoughts & prayers (no cliche .. itâs truth). George, I just may, just try going on a really slow & short trail ride. Itâs been on my bucket list for years.

He and Lucy came to my place in Brooklyn, and later when he was sick he would stay at my London flat when he came up for treatment. (By then he was with a different girl and living in the south of England.)
I spoke to him days before he died. He knew it was the end. I had tentative plans to visit him in the hospital but when the day came he wasnât up to it.
