Calvin Candie strongly approves of that video.

LOL quite heavy indeed. Reminds me of the videos I see on Reddit. You mainly feel bad for the kids who are given almost no chance to succeed in life with those types of parents.

It seemed like it took security an awful long time to show up and they still hadn't gained control when the video ended.

This reminds me that I have no intention, even if somebody gave me $1000, to visit any Disney Park. Ever.

Sometimes you can go to Disney without seeing a bunch of morbidly obese people punching each other.

You just have to pick the right day.

In the beginning there was a real sense of adventure, for the guests and the employees.

It seems that is long gone.

It has become more of an overgrown sterile cash machine peddling cookie-cutter dreams.

I've been to Disney Land and World for at least a dozen family vacations. It is not the same feeling now, but there is still some magic for children and memories.

I know a few people who are seriously into it. Even a childless couple in their 50s that go maybe twice a year.

I've never been and, as an adult, wouldn't go by myself, but I definitely want to take the kids there. I think they would have a memorable time. My primary requirement, I've told my wife, is to somehow go to minimize the crowds/heat.

Ha, just did a quick google. This PDF tells me it will be late January or early February: https://wdwprepschool.com/wp-content/uploads/wdw_crowd_calendar_2022.pdf

Mid-December is nice too, maybe the second week of the month. We have gone at this time a few times.

Thanksgiving is over, it isn't Christmas yet.

School is in, nobody is travelling. The Disney Christmas decorations are all up.

Christmas vacation has the worst crowds - by a lot.

That's a great idea, especially regarding the decorations being up.

                                My daughter's birthday is 12/13.

On her 5th birthday she woke up to be told there would be no school today, and we would be having lunch at Disneyworld. A great birthday surprise.

Once we saw how quiet it was, we did the same dates again. This was 28 years ago. I don't know if it is still that quiet now.

89th, you really cannot afford to go there anymore. They just keep hiking the prices, and then it's too crowded to do anything you really want to do. Friends who used to go several times a year from Indiana will no longer go.

Never priced it out, although I know it's expensive. We will see, I've been framing some of my best TNCR posts and selling them on etsy for a few years. Have made some good money.

I have a wall full in my totally normal typical 20 foot deep subterranean cave shrine dedicated to your posts and fire and Cthulhu. I think they are reasonably priced and of good quality, low sliminess factor after being stored on cave Cthulhu shrine walls for several years. Would purchase again, 4/5 stars.

School is in, nobody is travelling. The Disney Christmas decorations are all up.

Christmas vacation has the worst crowds - by a lot.

Another tip is to stick around after the parade and fireworks. Many people leave and most rides won't have lines. I know it may be late if you have young ones. But we would nap in the afternoon so the kids could stay up late.

Tom Brady has said he only wins the Super Bowls for the free trip to DisneyWorld. 🙂

I've seen him there in a couple of pics; it seems like it's nighttime, and also seems like the park is closed.
