      Very cool. As a kid, I'd already be outside after seeing this.
      And, this will help keep Emergency Rooms busy, so all-around win.

So it might actually keep the kid safer from that perspective. I'm just spit-balling ideas, I'm not really sure whether the helmet would keep the kid safer or not. I'm just saying there are a lot of different factors at play here.
