All newborns are beautiful - but not in the first 30 minutes after they're born. And not in the 18 months after that.
I've never, ever been comfortable with infants.. Gimme a 3 year old any day, and I'll be fine.
Think this has been posted before:

A: When you get tired of holding a cat, you can just drop it.

But the nice thing about them is you can put them somewhere and there they remain. One cannot make the same statement about a cat.
