Downtown Seattle has been taken over by armed militants and there’s no thread?

CNN's only story about it is the one about Seattle's mayor telling the bad orange man to shut up and mind his own business.
I see fox news has a story about it.
I think it's safe to say that our white liberal friends are unconcerned by this turn of events. Of legitimate concern, however, is bad orange man.

Well, as usual, it's not the peaceful demonstration that the liberal media is claiming it to be, and it's not the Thunderdome that the conservative media is claiming it to be.

What exactly is it? Like I said, I’ve been offline working on this backyard renovation. No internet browsing, no news, just Amazon Music...
I had to run out to Lowe’s for a tool and heard a couple guys talking about it.

It's a bit like Aqua's tea. It's probably nowhere near as awful as he makes it sound, but it's not exactly great news, either.

Again, we do not need our own Tiananmen Square. I think that is what they are trying to bait Trump into.

They've built a hippie commune out of a couple of blocks and are doing art projects.
They have no message, it's Occupy Wall Street all over again.
I've been following some of their chatter on social media - TONS of infighting about who leads the commune and message.
They can't decide if they should be talking about BLM or communist memes.
I don't like the idea of them hassling residents - but I don't know what the facts on the ground are.

The 18-year-old activist appears to be a transgender woman and a self-described “lesbian anarchist,” according to her now-private Twitter account. The activist tweeted Wednesday that CHAZ had invited homeless people into the zone, who promptly stole all of their food.

Might be time to set up a perimeter, one block from them, and starve them out.

That's hilarious. The homeless copped their grub.

If there was ever a time to let something play out it is now. The police should NOT intervene.

No, but the water and sewer department might help nature take its course.

It's a 6-7 block area.
The gov. pretended he knew nothing about it, when asked yesterday.I agree, leave it alone. Any use of force in such a stupid area would backlash, again.
Only thing that might shake some sense into people, is if they decide to burn down the area. But, like roaches, they will scatter, then scurry back to wherever they came from. -

I agree. Let them out, but don't let anyone in. This will melt away when they start having to starve in their own filth.

I am reminded of how the Romans surrounded Greek city-states.
Seriously let the people of Seattle come up with a solution and ask for help if they need it. It’s our first experiment in what the revolution has been demanding and we should let them have their way. Our only intervention should be 911 call response and obviously a fire if whoever is in charge gives the fire department permission to enter.

Like Paris under the Commune.
Probably end the same way.
