“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

Very sad, a horrible way to go. Traumatizing for those who remained alive. It's striking to think of what some do (or die trying) to get into this country, and worth remembering next time someone pisses you off in line at Costco.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

People are desperate enough to try and get into the country. This tragedy was not President Bidens fault, not President Trumps fault.

If people are hungry enough, poor enough, etc, they are going to come.

Have to solve the problem at the source. The border is a band aid, not a cure.

The migrants definitely know whether they will be welcome.

The president's policy makes a difference.

The cure is improving the economic and legal conditions of the source countries. Seems to be a UN responsibility.

That, and we badly need to overhaul our guest worker program.
