            I don't think Watergate would be even in the Top 10 list of scandalous newsworthy events if it happened in the last 6 years. #sad

                True, we saw something similar when Trump withheld $400 million from Ukraine and/or when he was caught asking Ukraine to open investigations against Trump's democratic opponent. Of course this led to Trump's first impeachment with some of the same charges that Nixon was going to face.

                    @Catseye3 @89th Agree. From what I remember reading, it appeared that the US senate would have voted about 100-0 for impeachment of President Nixon, so he decided to resign.

                    In todays world unfortunately, that would not happen.
