The problem is, for every 1 echo chamber liberal out there, there's at least 1.5 pseudo-centrist, 1 rightie and 1 far rightie.
OK, well, then, show me the 3.5 national news right-wing echo chambers on TV that are there for every 1 liberal one.

That's not the point. My point was, most Americans are not far-left. Which means politicians who pander to the far left and only the far left are screwing themselves. This shit's gonna come to a head and implode.

It already is. And the left, including my brother, are screaming bloody murder about the bill passed in Ohio to prevent biological men from competing in women's sports. I have long said that the LGBTQXYZQRST lobby's goal is not simply acceptance but endorsement.

Mik what do you attribute his indoctrination to?

Before Mik responds, I'm going to guess:
Spouse, profession or geographic location.

@Horace said in The hearings broadcast:
It's method acting for the history books, which are in fact being written, which identify Jan 6 as a legitimate coup attempt by Republicans - the political side of scary, racist, violent insurrectionists. The left will repeat the histrionic description of January 6 forever, and their long game is that that description will become all but fact. I think that's a realistic goal. At some point, you'll have to argue with "historians" like tribalist Timothy Snyder, and if you differ with them, you will be someone who is "ignorant of history", rather than someone who has a reasonable difference of opinion.
When liberal politicians pander, they're getting cheers from the far left, because they're the most vocal. About everything. So it's an echo chamber.
The problem is, for every 1 echo chamber liberal out there, there's at least 1.5 pseudo-centrist, 1 rightie and 1 far rightie.
I wish them the best of luck with their propaganda and hope they keep doubling down. Gets us ever closer to the coming implosion.
The long game of writing the history books and teaching future generations, is firmly in the left's sights, and increasingly in their hands.

Two out of three ain't bad. Profession (folk/bluegrass musician), and location (NE Ohio college town).
Some folks would gripe if you hung 'em with a new rope.

So, someone who would absorb and fully believe whatever it is he needs to in order to thrive professionally and socially. Normal. What they never understand, is that "principles" don't actually enter into it.

I haven't watched. Is there audio evidence of Trump saying that Pence deserves to be hanged? I presume not otherwise we would've heard it already.
I believe he said it, but it was not a public comment. I can’t imagine that anyone would be surprised.

It also seems like something he’d say, but also maybe not mean it literally. That being said, I love how we’ve come to a place culturally where there isn’t more outrage of a sitting President saying his VP should be hanged. To think the outrage threshold 15 years ago was Bush being unable to pronounce the word “nuclear”.

Outrage over out of context hearsay says something about the outraged person, but doesn't say much else. There's plenty of factual stuff we can all develop an opinion of Trump about, without cherry picking this. It does fit seamlessly with the narrative that Trump orchestrated a coup attempt. I suppose if you believe one, you'll believe the other.
