You can't be serious about "going green" and not embracing nuclear or fuel cells.
I saw an article (was it here?) about a new tech for fuel cells that is much more efficient in extracting hydrogen.

Basically, yeah. But a very different kind. There'd be a mountain of problems I'm sure but toxic waste likely wouldn't be one of them.
