BTW, just remember it's Dr. Jill and at the debate, Mr. Oz. Some doctors are more important than others.

@Jolly so I wasn’t the only one to have noticed that, eh?

I wonder if this was something that was discussed in the pre-debate negotiations.

CNN, once again, covers the news, with a pillow, because it might reflect badly on a Democrat.

It was tough’: Fetterman supporters voice concern that debate performance will sway undecided voters

Democrat John Fetterman’s debate performance has intensified the focus on his recovery from a stroke, leading some supporters to worry that his current post-stroke limitations could affect his narrow lead in the critical Pennsylvania Senate race against Republican Mehmet Oz.

If Fetterman’s showing changes the trajectory of the race, the debate could have nationwide ramifications, with Pennsylvania representing the best chance for Democrats to pick up a Senate seat in the evenly divided chamber. A CNN poll conducted by SSRS and released earlier this week found that 51% of likely voters support Fetterman, compared to 45% for Oz, an advantage narrowly outside of the survey’s margin of error. And a CBS News poll also released this week found a tightening race, with 51% of likely voters in Pennsylvania backing Fetterman and 49% backing Oz.

And there, at the bottom, in the very last, the 51st paragraph, we have CNN's medical specialist.

“Fetterman’s residual neurological injury is substantial,” Reiner said. “Much greater than his campaign has led the public to believe. It’s more than just processing hearing. It’s incredibly sad to watch.”

I find it interesting that so many in Pennsylvania will vote a man into office with obvious impairments.

OTIH, they say Feinstein is suffering from dementia.

The Fetterman camp says that he didn't (cough) perform up to expectations because of a teleprompter malfunction.

                    Oz's camp responds:

                    1. The 'prompter was checked out by your guys.
                    2. We gave you two opportunities to work with it before the actual debate, and you didn't show for one of them.
                    3. We are happy to participate in a second debate, and YOU can choose the 'prompter and the tech.

I read an article a while back about that.

EDIT: here is the article about it
                        https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2022/04/report-dianne-feinstein-memory-rapidly-deteriorating

But, since I don't want to play favorites (LOL), read about Strom Thurmond and how the shape he was in during the last years of his Senate.

You'd think these folk would have somebody to dress them, or at least give PR advice.

Unless of course it's done on purpose - a number of people commented that BoJo used to deliberately mess up his hair prior to speaking. He was a clever guy pretending to be stupid, the reverse of the norm. In Fetterman's case, this doesn't seem likely. It's possible that Trump's tie mishaps were done on purpose, I guess.

                                    I was only joking

I think Fetterman is very well intentioned, but completely undisciplined. A bad set of traits for a senator.

                                          Evil swimming

‘Very racist': ‘De facto’ Senate candidate Gisele Fetterman makes bizarre claim about swimming

'Historically, swimming in America is very racist,' Giselle Fetterman claimed

Gisele Fetterman, the wife of Pennsylvania Senate candidate Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, claimed that "swimming in America is very racist," weeks after being called the "de facto candidate" in her husband's Senate race following his stroke.

Gisele began speaking about the lieutenant governor's mansion in Pennsylvania and how the couple wanted to open up the pool to the public in an effort to "right some of the wrongs" of "racist" swimming.

"While we did not want the mansion, that mansion came with a pool I wanted. And the dream was to make this a public pool and turn it into the people’s pool and ensure that young people across Pennsylvania could learn how to swim and water safety and kind of work to right some of the wrongs," Gisele stated during her segment with the "iGen Politics" podcast.

"Historically, swimming in America is very racist, and usually when you look at drowning statistics, it usually affects children of color because of lack of access," she claimed.
