I mean, are we forgetting about Star Wars (Empire & Jedi), and ET?

@Aqua-Letifer This is the first I remember hearing about Willow. Was it a movie?

      But yeah, cool trailer.

Only the greatest fucking fantasy movie of all time, Mark. πŸ™„

πŸ˜„ It came out in the 80s. It was supposed to be an ambitious 3-part series, but they ran out of money while making it and it didn't kill at the box office, so the follow-ups were scrapped.

I lived through the 80's. I remember the 80's. And a lot of 80's movies. Willow is not the best fantasy movie of all time. It's not even the best fantasy movie of the 80's.

The best fantasy movie of the 80's is The Princess Bride.

I'm rolling my eyes so hard I might get detached retinas.

If we're talking all-time 80s fantasy, Dark Crystal beats Princess Bride any day, hands down. Freaking Beetlejuice too.

Depends on who you hang with, I guess. I chalk this up as a generational handicap on your part. 😁

I know some 80's nerds think Willow is the ultimate fantasy. But besides you and the other two guys, it's a very small advocacy group.πŸ˜›πŸ˜›

Never saw Willow - I'm not a "fantasy" fan.

Is it worth my retired time?

In all honesty, no, not if you don't like fantasy.

Yah. I watched about 30 minutes of Wheel of Time and...meh.

                Gimme The Expanse, or Halo.

                ST:SNW would do as well.

My niece named her daughter Elora. I don't think she named her after the movie though.

Anyway, how different do you think the original sequel is from the one they eventually put out? IIRC in the movie Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley were left with the baby.

That would be SF, not fantasy.

Star Wars is considered more fantasy than Sci-Fi.
