Ok, ground rules for this thread.

You can’t just post a price. That’s meaningless. How TF are we supposed to know what it used to be?

    Post a before and after.

Well, I can’t say what it cost last time, but I remember refusing to buy Progresso for $3.00 last year because I could normally find it for $1.50-$2.00…

My go-to bag of dog food doubled in price. I've been skipping from brand to brand now trying to find reasonable prices.

Have you noticed any taste difference? 🤔

All I can say is that it looks and smells about the same, before and after it’s put to its intended use.

My local supermarket used to sell watermelon at $5 or $6 each. Now it's $.56 / lb. Normal watermelons now cost more than $10, but you don't know until you weigh it.

The Costco (big) hot dog plus soda combo for $1.50 hasn’t changed since 1985.

Along that line, a full bird rotisserie chicken seems to have been holding the line at $4.99 for a long time as well at Costco.

Don't go to the dollar store, either. It was always a risky name for a store, lol

I have seen quite a few “dollar stores” now selling items at $1.25 each (before tax).

Costco did the same thing with its hot dogs - moving them to vertical integration.
