I have a direct ancestor that was a Lord in pre-Norman England and lost his land and title due to the invasion. Or as my family calls it, the late unpleasantness.

He clearly cheated. Harold had already defeated one bunch of foreigners two weeks earlier and then had to march freaking miles to deal with the Normans.
Otherwise he would have won - by a lot! So Sad.

I have a new approach to this game. I get it in three or consider it a loss.
I start with two equations that together cover all symbols and numbers. After those two I also know where the equals sign is.
The ones I use are:
9*8+4=76
20/5-3=1Then I give myself one guess on the equation.
