    Wait, that's all it'll take? 🙂

If you make it as a family project, with her as the gift recipient and only having to decide how to decorate it, it would be a great Mother's day experience for her. A fancy feeder to go with it, and a bottle of wine as nectar for the two of you during a dinner you arrange to have delivered, would complete the best day a mom could have. 😊

@brenda really great advice, I appreciate the time you took to write it out and I will be referencing it! We have 2 hummingbird feeders we are going to put up soon.

@89th You are most welcome! It is important to make it a successful experience, otherwise it ends in frustration and disappointment. I wish someone had shared this type of information with me when I first attempted it 35 years ago. I had a terrible time. It took many years before I had interest in trying again, and with the internet available by that point, it was so much easier and loads more fun. I want you to have the shortcut to success with your hummers.

      Post pics, please!

The biggest thing to remember is to change the nectar out every couple or three days, especially in hot weather.

I don't want to hoard all the hummers. Anyone else need some? (not from me) @jon-nyc or @Aqua-Letifer ?

As jon's sister can attest, getting hummers near your trees can be a very sticky experience due to the fluids you're dealing with. No thanks.

                Please love yourself.

@89th Is such a good guy. I remember hearing the story when he and Aqua were in college, 89 got really lucky at some party and got two blow jobs.

He was so considerate, when he got back home he gave one to Aqua.

In case you are not familiar with Journey North, it's the top reporting and recording site for a number of seasonal migrations and spring season naturalist record keeping, and it's now based from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Yes, they do. They have numerous seasonal tracking links.
