As far as I'm concerned, back up and let the people do their own policing.

    Will be good for them.

While they're at it, let them have the prisons, too.

Maybe we should just defund the white police

I'm waiting for our leftward voices here to let us know whether the defunding of police should be a "legitimate concern", for those who would consider a defunded police force to be concerning. Just curious how we should calibrate our thresholds for legitimacy of concern.

Since all police are bastards it would be more of an illegitimate concern.

(Note: I don't actually think all police are bastards. It's a pun.)

        I was only joking

Dude, you ever watch a black cop shakedown a young black man?

They'd put a white cop under the jailhouse for that...

                Try it!
Rochester, New York would be perfect. Eliminate the police, and see how it goes.

If it works, great! If not, well, sux to be you.

We already know what it looks like, since this was all beta tested in Portland.

Sort of. The problem in PDX is that as hard as the city tries, they cannot recruit sufficient numbers of new candidates.

In utopia...one of them wakes up to find a burglar (obviously white) in their house (obviously without a door or locks) taking all of their stuff (obviously quinoa and Birkenstock’s), so they decide to call the police (a chicken in the backyard they’ve named Mrs. Justice) and in no surprise to anyone, the chicken doesn’t help.

Those now calling for defunding police "should demonstrate by example by getting together and offering zip codes and then declaring themselves a police-free zone," black economic empowerment advocate and community activist Robert Woodson told Just the News. "And then watch how all the criminals will line up to go there."

I don't think I'll ever see in my life a popular and high-status idea any dumber or more simply disprovable by basic statistics, than this idea that white cops murdering innocent black people is among our most pressing social issues. That we need to take measures as drastic as getting rid of police altogether in order to solve it.

That said, I'm less worried about dissolving police departments than I am about all the socialism that the left will attempt to smuggle in along with their solutions to the problem of white cops murdering innocent black people.

                                          Education is extremely important.
