I'm pretty sure that at least one forum member will know what this is and maybe even own one.

It’s a tool I use maybe once or twice a year.

Why are you messing with your headset that frequently? Re-greasing it?

                    Please love yourself.

Hm, I wouldn't know why you would need a tool like that for the headset.

Difficult to say without some kind of tape measure (preferably with Imperial units) to gauge.

No. The ones I serviced so far have all been press-fit, such as a BB-72. I have some issues with one particular bike frame where I couldn't eliminate some level of creaking. By now I think that the frame itself is the problem, i.e., the alignment isn't quite right. I am even considering to buy an expensive one-piece bottom bracket, such as this one, to eliminate the problem.

It’s a tool I use maybe once or twice a year.

Why are you messing with your headset that frequently? Re-greasing it?

Hm, I wouldn't know why you would need a tool like that for the headset.

You tell me, you posted it. It's a headset cup remover. https://www.jensonusa.com/Park-Tool-RT-1-Headset-Cup-Remover-Fits-1-1-18-1-14-Headset-Cups

I use it for removing bottom brackets.

                                    I assume they're cartridge?

Yeah that makes sense—and using that particular tool. I would have been skeptical had you said you BB was threaded.

Will the BB you're looking to get fit your current bike? Those things can be a pain to match.

                                    Please love yourself.

Too late to this thread. I was going to guess a bike tool of some sort but it has been a few years since I built a bike. I do remember I used the BB30 bottom bracket in my builds.

@mark you need the tool only to disassemble but not too assemble a bike, hence maybe you didn't need it.
