For those who don't know @libsoftiktok is a twitter account that is run by an anonymous woman. The account takes videos, posts, and pictures of some of the outrageous things posted on twitter and elsewhere by some of the most deranged people on the planet. It offers a bit of commentary, but lets the posts speak for themselves.
So, apparently the "media reporter" of (Democracy in Darkness) billionaire Jeff Bezos' newspaper had a meltdown about how unfair it is to dox people, how privacy should be respected, etc. A month ago, she gave an interview and wept about it.
It's "terrifying." It's "horrifying".

Of course, that was then.
And, this morning, someone showed up at libs of TikTok's relatives house for an interview.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

An armed society is a polite society.
Castle doctrine should apply to annoying twerps. People tend to have intense religious experiences when staring in the muzzle of a shotgun.
Probably wouldn't take but about two closed casket funerals, for privacy in one's home to be respected.

p.s. - Anybody doxxing a home address of anybody, for whatever reason, should some other person use that doxxed information and get their ignorant ass shot on the doxxed person's doorstep, should be immediately charged with manslaughter and incarcerated at hard labor for five years. No parole.

Right or wrong or implausible for media folks, but... my initial reaction to this type of story is that this is a risk of voluntarily going into the public arena (online) and posting content. Of course no one should be doxed or harassed or whatever... but unfortunately you should very much expect online trolls and filth to be out there, same as if you were in Times Square shouting your opinions.

As I read the WaPo piece they seem to be blowing the account all out of proportion.
I don't follow it, I only see occasional retweets but almost everything I've seen is just exposing hypocritical tweets by usually no-name people.
Maybe I've missed something.
They’ll end up, after a lot of drama, with the same formula they use every time they have a trifecta: take away health care and food assistance from low income families and use the money to fund tax cuts for their donors.

It’s awesome for public self-selection, as the douches proudly self-identify. Righteous people are always self-awareness-free as they display their worst tendencies in the name of their socially advantageous mob morality.

But, speaking of hypocrisy, the absolute BALLS of Lorenz to get all weepy in an interview about doxxing and bullying, and then run this story is astonishing.

Literally the purpose of the emotion of righteousness is to blind oneself to these sorts of hypocrisies. It’s not so much balls as a lack of self awareness, brought to you by millions of years of evolution.

Yes that’s the one I was thinking of. They find some rando who said x in 2017 and ~x today. He must put a lot of effort into that.
