I'll say it again - this has gone so spectacularly bad for Putin that it is quite imaginable that this is what we wanted all along. There's a whole lot of advanced military strategic and tactical thinking going into Ukraine.

I get it that Putin is giving Kadyrov a chance to put up or shut up. Still it shows the Russian public that Putin is scraping the barrel:

On the other hand maybe he’ll be deployed to the front where he will ingloriously die by way of a targeted Ukrainian drone or artillery ordinance. Either way I hope he dies “not well”.

Hate to say it but a lot of Chechens earned a beating. Collectively they have a bad reputation through all the former Soviet republics, not just Russia. They are particularly despised in Ukraine and Georgia.

Kadyrov is a hatchet man, an assassin, one of Putin’s ethnic Capos.

As I say when the time comes for him to die, he’ll die and it will not be well.

Ukraine has captured 460 Russian main battle tanks, 92 self-propelled howitzers, 448 infantry fighting vehicles, 195 armored fighting vehicles and 44 multiple-launch rocket systems, according to Oryx.
