Hate to say it but a lot of Chechens earned a beating. Collectively they have a bad reputation through all the former Soviet republics, not just Russia. They are particularly despised in Ukraine and Georgia.

Russia has supplied more weapons to Ukraine than any other Western country.

Ukraine has captured 460 Russian main battle tanks, 92 self-propelled howitzers, 448 infantry fighting vehicles, 195 armored fighting vehicles and 44 multiple-launch rocket systems, according to Oryx.
