Finishing off Birthday Weekend at Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern (I’m sure @Copper @Aqua-Letifer and @89th are familiar) with Jimmy’s platter… A beef wreck with sport peppers, 5 Buffalo wings, and pierogis and kielbasa… Washed down with a nice IPA…

Beats the hell out of cinnamon meat sauce on spaghetti with a pound of cheddar cheese on top…

Yes, of course, been there many times.

Jimmy's was much needed. I remember when it opened, we lived just down the street at that time. There was only one place in Herndon to get a drink, the next closest place was Dulles airport.
