The man is a genius.

Like many here, I first encountered his work on "Justified."

Sadly, he's fallen into the typecast of the "weirdo-quirky-we kinda like him - nut case character." Look at "The Righteous Gemstones" for example. His work in "The Shield" seems to have been forgotten. as well as his work in "Sons of Anarchy."

All of those characters are just over the top.

I'm binging through season 2 of "Deep State." He plays a very disgruntled CIA guy and it's a remarkable performance. He's serious, edgy and very very not-weird and not-quirky.

He's fabulous.

Yeah he is great. Absolutely loved him in The Shield. I first remember seeing him in The Apostle with Robert Duvall.
