Ugh - that reminds me of a completely unrelated tragedy I have heard of. Ukraine is a hot spot for IVF / donor eggs / surrogacy / etc. There are many future parents who have embryos, pregnant surrogates (e.g., at 30 weeks), or even newborn babies who have no idea on the status of their baby (born or not).
